Quick post on language
Posted by

Not for nothing, but I do cringe when I see the word matrimony referencing a marriage made of two grooms. Shouldn't that be a patrimony? If you read through anthropological definitions, many times they want to make a distinction of a maternal line and a paternal line which suggests the marital relationship has the ability to create descendants through natural means of human sexuality. Yes, language changes and does evolve. There's a point when changes make such a leap there is no connection from one to the other. It's impossible to share ideas and thoughts, because we're literally talking to different languages.
